Gilly Barnes Bio

Bio PhotoChino Moro was born in Bahia Blanca, Argentina. He started working as a photographer in his hometown in 1985, at age 25, but in 1990 he moved to Buenos Aires and began working for the most prestigious fashion magazines. At the moment, Chino spends his days working in the world’s greatest capitals, like New York, Paris, London, Milan and Mexico City, where he keeps his studio.

Regarding his job, Chino won’t hide how passionate he feels about photography. He strongly believes that a real good fashion shoot, as many other things in life, is produced with the soul, as well as a reliable team. For him it’s imperative to work with people that get involved with both, artistic and creative aspects of the project. “Doing this implies definitely loving your job, and when this happens, everything comes naturally. Music and incense are essential tools, for they create a comfortable and nice ambience. It is exactly in that precise moment when I start shooting and through my camera and aided by my sensibility, I try to capture the real moment. A good model must not only be beautiful, but should be able to transmit what I like to express through a picture.” Working and living from what he loves the most, makes Chino think about himself as a very lucky man; the sole idea of doing it gives peace to his existence. Life, in his own words, is too short for us to waste it in things that won’t make us feel happy. Then the answer, is to live our lives working and enjoying fulfilling activities; always looking at the brighter side of life and never forgetting that everything is just a tiny part in the infinite process of learning.
